Burnout is a common human experience that can affect anyone. Those who work high-stress jobs with long hours, such as healthcare professionals, teachers, retail management, service industry employees, and corporate executives are particularly susceptible. Additionally, stay-at-home parents, who often juggle numerous responsibilities without adequate time for self-maintenance, can also experience it. No matter the circumstance, burnout bubbles up when pressure and stress overwhelm your ability to create harmony between work and everyday life.

While both life coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically focus on addressing mental health issues and past traumas, while life coaches focus on helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Sometimes its a case-by-case basis. Some people who work stressful jobs benefit from working with a coach indefinitely. Others may need it for a confined period of time when stress levels may be higher than usual. There is no right or wrong way to engage this resource; it’s all about doing what’s best for you.

I have 2 programs; Armor is a 6-week Prevention Program and Reignite is 12-week Recovery Program. But when you complete either one and still want/or need some extra guidance, I can definitely help you with that.

Coaching is such a unique experience, and it impacts different people in different ways. Coaching offers a change in perspective, which might impact different facets of your life in ways you don’t necessarily expect.

While each person’s experience of coaching is different, many clients report:

  • Feeling clearer on your values
  • Feeling more connected to your true self, and knowing how to create a life that reflects that authenticity
  • How to set boundaries in your work and personal life
  • Making progress towards your goals and dreams
  • Knowing how to better structure your time and take action towards the future
  • Feeling able to cultivate the fulfillment you want in your life right now, regardless of external circumstances

Sessions are collaborative, and you have to be open and put in some work to get the full benefits. They can be in person, over the phone, or online via Zoom.

  1. First book your FREE 30-minute support call.
  2. We will discuss your current situation and identify what would be most beneficial for you to focus on. And if it's a fit for you we will move on to the next stage.
  3. You will be sent the client agreement for your review and signature. Once that's signed you will get my welcome package, pre-coaching program questionnaire to help us prepare for our work together, and the Zoom links for our sessions. All will need to be filled out and returned before our first session review.
  4. We will have a 60-minute call each week for the program length. We focus on a specific topic on each call. Of course, this becomes customized to suit you personally; we can skim over or go deeper into the areas that would be most beneficial for you.
  5. You'll have things to work through and focus on between each call, and I'm available via email or Voxer for questions and support between our sessions.

My 6-week Armor Program is $997, or 2 payments of $547

My 12-week Reignite Program is $1997, or 3 payments of $697

If you want to have on-going calls after your program, we can certainly do that, at an hourly rate.

For payments, I use Venmo, PayPal or Cash.

Due to the nature of coaching, we may cover topics or end up in places you might not initially expect. What we cover in our sessions will largely depend on the program outline and what you might need in that moment.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance in my coaching practice. I adhere to the International Coach Federation's (ICF) Code of Ethics, which includes strict guidelines for maintaining client confidentiality.

Do you think Burnout isn't a problem?

Do you think you can just push through?

According to research by Dr Jarrod Haar, working more than 55+ hours per week is associated with a 580% higher risk of burnout. Read that again. A five hundred and eighty per cent higher risk!

While U.S. employees grapple with an epidemic of loneliness and burnout, working women are at even higher risk of fatigue than their male counterparts. About 44% of female staffers in the U.S. say they are burnt out from their job, while only 36% of their male coworkers feel the same way, according to new data from LinkedIn shared exclusively with Fortune. This discrepancy is most likely due to the fact that women are expected to both work full time and shoulder the majority of household responsibilities.

The World Economic Forum also has some data on the subject and has estimated the cost to the economy at $322 billion annually. This is an alarming number - too big to really comprehend - but even then, it doesn’t tell us the full picture of what we lose as individuals and communities when we burn out.

But as I learned first-hand, stress, when left unmanaged, can have long-term detrimental effects on our physical and mental health. It contributes to issues such as heart disease, obesity, and anxiety, as highlighted by the American Psychological Association.

So yes, burnout is not something we can ignore or just call another new fad. It is real and it is having a huge impact not only on the individuals who have burned out but also on their families, organizations and our economy.

It is easy to assume that if you enjoy your work, you will be safe from burnout. But in fact, paradoxically, burnout is associated with purpose-driven work.
